About Summer
I am passionate about helping people feel confident and in control of their health through realistic, sustainable nutrition. I specialize in supporting individuals with prediabetes, diabetes, and gestational diabetes, as well as those working toward healthy and lasting weight loss. My approach focuses on building balanced, flexible habits that fit your lifestyle—not restrictive or crash diets. Having personally navigated a pregnancy with gestational diabetes, I understand how challenging and emotional managing blood sugar can be, and I’m here to offer both expertise and empathy every step of the way.

I believe that healthy changes don’t have to be extreme to be effective. My approach focuses on balance, flexibility, and finding what works for you. Together, we’ll make sustainable changes that feel doable — because those little steps really do add up over time.
Your first session with Summer
Our first session is all about getting to know you. I’ll start with a comprehensive nutrition assessment so I can understand your current habits, medical history, and lifestyle. We’ll talk about what’s worked (and what hasn’t) when it comes to nutrition in the past, and I’ll learn more about your goals and what’s most important to you. This session gives us a solid starting point — it’s less about making big changes right away and more about building a clear picture of where you are now so we can create a realistic, personalized plan moving forward.
