āSummer is a great dietitian to work with. She always keeps it fun and is easy to talk with. She cares about her clients' success, offers a no judgement zone, and provides many tools and resources to help you in meeting your goals. I enjoy the sessions I have with her.ā

āSummer has been great to work with! We hit it off right away. Evan though I have only been working with her for a little less than a month, I already learning a ton and recognizing patterns in my eating style. There is no judgment and even though we have fun there is still a lot I am taking away to make the tweaks needed to have a healthier lifestyle. Highly recommend Summer to anyone looking to take control of their eating habits and lifestyle. You will not regret it!ā

About Summer
Iām a proud graduate of Winthrop University and completed my dietetic internship. As a registered dietitian, I bring a unique combination of leadership, compassion, and real-world experience that sets me apart. I've served as a lead dietitian for two years in a skilled nursing facility, overseeing clinical nutrition services while supporting both patients and interdisciplinary teams. Prior to that, I worked in a variety of settings including WIC and acute care, giving me a well-rounded understanding of nutrition across all stages of life. Originally from Texas, Iāve moved often due to my fatherās career, which taught me how to adapt quickly and connect easily with people from all walks of life. I now live in South Carolina with my husband and our two cats. When Iām not working, youāll find me practicing yoga, going on long walks, traveling, or exploring new restaurantsāespecially if thereās dessert involved!
Approach to care
What sets me apart is my ability to connect. I believe nutrition should feel approachable, not overwhelming. Clients choose to work with me because I meet them where they areācreating realistic, sustainable goals rooted in empathy, evidence-based care, and their unique lifestyle. Whether you're managing a chronic condition, navigating a new diagnosis, or simply trying to feel your best, Iāll walk alongside you with support and strategy every step of the way. I look forward to being a trusted partner on your health journeyāand celebrating your progress every step of the way.
