About Sundus
Hi, I'm Sundus, an RDN with eight years of experience. I earned my MS in Nutrition from Queens College, and I work across clinical and hospital settings as well as community health. I practice from an evidence-based, educational perspective and love helping people build sustainable habits they can carry forward. In my downtime you’ll find me reading, cooking, hiking, biking, or at the gym. I value curiosity, patience, and connection, and I’m glad you’re here.
Approach to care
I believe care should be evidence-based, empathetic, and collaborative. In every session I bring a science-focused approach, but I speak plainly and offer practical steps you can try this week. I work with you in a weight-neutral, health-focused way that honors your values and supports lasting change. Together we'll explore eating patterns, daily routines, and stress before framing doable goals. My aim is to empower you with knowledge while keeping the process approachable and sustainable.
Your first session with Sundus
Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history, labs or biometrics, and together establish short-term goals that feel achievable. I want you to feel safe and heard in a non-judgmental space, with a plan that fits your life. You don’t need to have everything figured out yet just show up as you are. We'll take small steps at a pace that works for you and set a clear path for our next visit, with support along the way.
