Patient reviews

  • Susan has been a wonderful cheerleader and coach through my eating healthy to lose weight journey. She’s thoughtful and doesn’t judge you. She helps you find alternatives for food items.. she helps you with labels and understanding the ingredients of items.I’m extremely grateful for her commitment to me and would highly recommend her if your thinking of needing someone in your corner for your health journey!

About Susan

I am Registered Dietitian in Denver Colorado. I am married with two wonderful teenage children. I started my career in nutrition and public health over 22 years ago. I later became a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist providing nutrition education to people living with diabetes, prediabetes and chronic kidney disease on dialysis. My latest professional endeavors have been centered on coaching and wellness. I love nutrition education and the benefits it brings to both public health and to the individual.

Approach to care

My approach to care is collaborative. Working with you to reach your goals and your potential is very fulfilling for me and I feel honored to work beside you on your journey. I enjoy coaching on the topics of diabetes self management, mindful eating, meal planning and prep, women's health, living well with chronic health conditions such as diabetes, kidney disease and working with you to establish healthy habits. My passion is prevention through nutrition.

Your first session with Susan

You can expect to be greeted with an open and accepting environment in which to get to know you better. We will spend some time talking about your medical history, relationship with food, typical eating and exercise habits and what you hope to gain from our visits. You can expect to leave our session with a vision of the future and 1-2 simple actionable steps to work on. I value humor and openness in our sessions.
