About Susan

Helping clients unlock true well-being through the healing power of nourishing, delicious food is a prime passion of mine as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a holistic perspective. I take a whole-person approach -- addressing not just what's on your plate, but also how your lifestyle and mindset affect metabolism. My practice centers on a "Metabolic Reset" for Body and Mind, supporting your body’s natural balance with practical, personalized, and sustainable shifts. We'll work together to help you (re)connect with the rhythms of nature and get back to basic, timeless tenets of wellness. My goal is to help empower you to find the way of eating and living that truly works for you.

Approach to care

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in whole-person wellness. I emphasize that how you eat is just about as important as what you eat, focusing on three pillars: nutrient-dense eating (delish whole foods, mindful treats); lifestyle support (mindful eating, enjoyable movement, sleep, stress awareness, etc); and the body-mind/mind-body connection (awareness, curiosity, "neuro-nutrition"). We'll harness nature's bounty to add vitality-rich foods before mindfully removing potentially inflammatory, addictive elements to help support your metabolism and homeostasis in sustainable ways.

Your first session with Susan

The aim is for our first session to be a relaxed, supportive space to explore your goals, current habits, medical concerns, and relationship with food, then co-create a personalized and doable wellness plan. You can think of sessions as collaborative explorations centered on goal setting, education, meal planning (focus on enjoyable, agreeable, wholesome/nutrient-dense options), with encouragement & reminders along the way. I hope you’ll leave the first session with a clear, encouraging roadmap, plus a partner to help guide and support you on your wellness journey...
