About Susan

Hi, I'm Susan! Food has been my compass through 35 years as a Registered Dietitian. I earned my BS in Nutrition from the University of Wisconsin Madison and bring experience from clinical hospital work to home care, rehab, outpatient, and skilled nursing. As an Registered and Licensed Dietitian, I am passionate about helping clients at every stage of life and when we work together we'll build sustainable habits that fit your day-to-day routine.

Approach to care

My approach to care is rooted in partnership and respect for each individual’s unique journey. I combine science-based recommendations with a warm, judgment-free attitude so you'll feel heard and supported. We'll focus on clear, practical steps and accountability that lead to lasting change, not quick fixes. I practice through a "health at every size lens", looking at the whole person including sleep, stress, movement, and enjoyment of food, while teaching skills so you can make informed choices long term.

Your first session with Susan

Expect a relaxed, conversation-style visit that centers around your priorities. We'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you have, and discuss how medications, routines, and daily life influence nutrition. From that foundation we'll establish one or two short-term, achievable goals so you will leave with clear next steps. You do not need to have everything figured out, this is a low-pressure, collaborative and respectful space where we'll move at your pace.
