About Susan

Hey there! I'm so glad you're considering working with me on your nutrition journey. After 20+ years as a registered dietitian, I've helped countless people in all kinds of settings—from private practice to hospitals to long-term care facilities. I specialize in helping women who are dealing with health challenges like autoimmune conditions, Type II Diabetes/prediabetes, heart health, healthy aging, general nutrition and enteral nutrition concerns. But here's something personal—I've actually walked this path myself. I've successfully managed my own rheumatoid arthritis through diet, supplements, and lifestyle changes, so I truly get what it's like to be searching for answers when you're not feeling your best.

Approach to care

I promise I won't push some crazy quick fix fad diet or make you count your macos! Instead, I'll meet you right where you are. We'll talk about your life, your schedule, your preferences, and create a plan that actually works for YOU. Small changes add up over time, and having someone to check in with makes all the difference—that's where I come in! My style? I'm straight-forward but never judgmental. I look at the whole picture of your health and life, not just what's on your plate. I know how frustrating health challenges can be, and I'm here to be your guide and cheerleader.

Your first session with Susan

Think of this initial meeting as similar to your first visit with a new doctor. We'll start by going through some necessary paperwork—completing intake forms for billing and insurance purposes. But don't worry! This isn't just about paperwork. As we talk, I'll be learning about your health history, current lifestyle, and what goals you're hoping to achieve. This is our chance to get to know each other and establish a comfortable connection. By the end of our session, we'll discuss a personalized plan of care based on everything I've learned about you. We'll also cover some practical housekeeping items like scheduling future appointments and attendance expectations.
