About Susie
Hi! I’m Susie, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with experience across clinical, outpatient, and eating-disorder treatment settings. I help clients rebuild a peaceful relationship with food through evidence-based nutrition care, empathy, and practical guidance. My approach blends medical nutrition therapy with compassionate counseling, supporting individuals navigating eating disorders, chronic conditions, and unique lifestyle needs. I believe every client deserves to feel heard and understood, and I aim to create a safe, collaborative space where sustainable, realistic progress becomes possible.
Approach to care
I blend evidence-based nutrition care with a compassionate, weight-neutral approach. I incorporate Intuitive Eating principles to help clients reconnect with hunger and fullness cues while building trust with food. For those who benefit from structure, I use supportive meal planning and clear, realistic goals to reduce overwhelm and increase consistency. Accountability is central to my work—I provide steady guidance, honest feedback, and a non-judgmental space where clients can explore challenges and celebrate progress. My goal is to help each person develop a sustainable, confident relationship with food that honors both their physical and emotional needs.
Your first session with Susie
In our first session, we’ll take time to understand your goals, health history, eating patterns, and the challenges that bring you to nutrition counseling. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to get a clear picture of your relationship with food, your daily routines, and any medical or emotional factors that may play a role. Together, we’ll identify your priorities and outline a plan that feels realistic and supportive. You won’t need to prepare anything or have all the answers—this is simply a conversation to get to know you and set a foundation for your care. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and confident about our next steps.
