About Suzanne
After 20 years as a Registered Dietitian, with a BS in Nutritional Science from UW Green Bay and an internship at Mass General, I still find the most reward in community health work. As an RD and LDN I bring practical, evidence-based guidance and a flexible, creative approach shaped by life in Alaska. You’ll often find me jogging with my dog on local trails, berry picking, spending time outside, or serving at my church. Those simple rhythms keep my counseling grounded and realistic.
Approach to care
What guides my work is a commitment to evidence-based, weight-neutral care that honors the whole person. I blend current research with warm, nonjudgmental support so we’ll identify clear, practical steps and track progress together. Grounded in Health At Every Size, I focus on behaviors, function, and wellbeing rather than the scale. I teach the why behind recommendations so you gain the knowledge and skills to make sustainable changes that fit your life.
Your first session with Suzanne
During the first visit we’ll review your medical history, talk through routines and priorities, and establish one or two short-term goals to get started. This is a relaxed, judgment-free conversation, you don’t need to have everything figured out ahead of time. We’ll leave with a practical first step and a plan for how we’ll adjust as we learn what works best for you, together.
