About Sydney
Hi, I'm Sydney. I'm a Registered Dietitian with four years of experience, and I earned my MS in nutrition science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. My career has taken me through clinical hospital settings, private practice, and community health, and I practice with a foundation of evidence and compassion. I hold MS, LDN, and RDN credentials, and I'm especially passionate about women's health. I focus on prenatal, fertility, and postpartum nutrition, and hormone health, guiding clients through prenatal supplements, food aversions and nausea, meal planning across trimesters, as well as dietary needs for PCOS, menopause, and weight concerns. Outside of work, I love cooking, reading mystery thrillers, sailing, pilates, and cuddling my dogs (and cat)!
Approach to care
My care philosophy is built on evidence-based practice, empathy, and partnership. I blend science with warmth, helping you understand the why behind nutrition choices and translate it into doable steps. We'll set clear, actionable goals and track progress together, staying flexible as life changes. I believe in a Health at Every Size, weight-neutral approach that focuses on sustainable habits, not quick fixes. My work is holistic, honoring sleep, stress, and mood as part of nutrition, and I’m committed to educating you so you can make informed decisions that fit your life.
Your first session with Sydney
Our first session is all about you. We'll review medical history, talk about your relationship with food, and discuss short-term goals while building rapport. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out beforehand; this is a judgment-free, collaborative conversation. We'll explore what matters most to you, what's worked in the past, and what your daily life looks like. By the end, we'll set 1–2 realistic goals to start with and outline the next steps we'll take together.
