About Sydney

Sydney enjoys working closely with clients to provide individualized, evidence-based nutrition care aimed at improving quality of life and overall health. She supports individuals seeking to enhance their physical and mental well-being, manage or prevent conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure, improve laboratory markers of health, and develop sustainable eating habits. Sydney has a strong interest in weight management, including working with individuals pursuing general weight loss, those preparing for or recovering from bariatric surgery, and those using weight loss medications. She finds it important to stay up to date with ever-changing nutrition research and often spends her free time listening to podcasts and divulging in newly released research. Having followed a gluten-free diet for over 10 years, Sydney brings both professional expertise and personal insight to supporting individuals with gluten-related concerns.

Approach to care

I strive to help you create realistic, achievable goals that are sustainable long term. I believe it is essential to explain the science behind nutrition recommendations so you feel empowered to make informed choices beyond our sessions. I recognize that everyone’s journey is unique, and I am committed to meeting you where you are and matching your pace. Change can feel challenging or overwhelming, and my goal is to provide supportive guidance, motivation, and practical strategies to help make transitions feel more manageable. By the end of each appointment, I want you to feel confident, informed, and equipped with the tools needed to take your next steps forward.

Your first session with Sydney

My goal during our first meeting is to build a strong foundation and a relationship where you feel heard and supported. I strive to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you can ask questions and feel safe sharing your experiences. During this session, we will discuss what you hope to gain from our work together. I will take time to learn about your medical history, recent laboratory results, eating habits, and current or past relationship with food. From there, we will collaborate to identify a realistic starting point and outline a clear path toward your overall health goals.
