As an Army veteran and a busy mom, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to balance health, family, and everyday demands. Having also navigated my own weight loss journey, I understand the ups and downs that come with making lasting changes. My mission is to provide a supportive space where you feel understood, empowered, and confident in taking steps toward your goals. I believe food is more than just fuelâitâs connection, culture, comfort, and an essential way to care for yourself in a sustainable, realistic way. With both personal experience and professional training as a dietitian, Iâm here to help you create a plan that works for your unique lifestyle.
Approach to care
I take a personalized yet approachable style in working with clients, focusing on progress that feels both realistic and sustainable. Rather than centering on restriction, I emphasize how we can add nourishing foods to support balance and well-being. I believe all foods can have a place in your diet, and I will never label a food as âoff-limitsâ unless it is truly harmful to your health or simply not something you enjoy. From there, I work alongside you to create a plan that is both evidence-based and practical, with strategies that fit into your lifestyle. Along the way, Iâll be there to celebrate your winsâbig and smallâand offer encouragement and adjustments whenever needed. My goal is to make sure you feel supported, understood, and empowered as we work together toward your health goals.
Your first session with Tabitha
Our first session is all about you. Weâll spend time getting to know each other and exploring your nutrition goals, your relationship with food, and the routines that shape your daily life. Iâll gather some background on your medical history and lifestyle so I can better understand your unique needs. Together, weâll talk through whatâs been working well, where youâve been feeling challenged, and begin creating a personalized plan that feels realistic and supportive. My goal is to make you feel heard, comfortable, and confident as we take the first step toward your health goals.
