Approach to care
Taegan Gandolfi is a registered dietitian who is passionate about helping people develop a healthier relationship with food. Her own struggles with weight and a negative relationship with food sparked her interest in nutrition. Taegan realized that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition, and that diets should be tailored to fit a person's lifestyle. She strives to help individuals understand that there are no good or bad foods, only moderation.
Your first session with Taegan
In our first oncology nutrition session, I keep things relaxed and straightforward. I’ll get to know your diagnosis, where you are in treatment, your usual eating habits, and any symptoms or concerns you’re dealing with. If you’re here to reduce your cancer risk, we’ll talk about your goals and what your day-to-day eating looks like. From there, I give simple, realistic nutrition guidance that fits your energy level, preferences, and lifestyle. You’ll leave with a few clear, doable steps and the reassurance that you’re supported whether you’re preparing for treatment, going through it, recovering, or focusing on prevention.
