About Taiyyibah

am Taiyyibah Moughal, a registered dietitian nutritionist who specializes in sports performance and PCOS. I work with athletes in weight class and combat sports such as wrestling, MMA, and jiu jitsu, cyclists, runners, and other endurance and team sport athletes, as well as people navigating PCOS, hormone imbalance, and sustainable weight loss. Many of my patients come to me feeling exhausted, stuck, or confused by all the mixed messages about nutrition. My role is to help you cut through that noise, understand what your body needs, and create a plan that helps you perform, feel better, and still enjoy food.

Approach to care

When we work together, I start by listening. I want to understand your training load or day to day life, your symptoms, schedule, and what you have already tried. From there, we create a plan that feels realistic, not rigid, whether that means fueling strategies around practices and competitions, safe and structured weight changes, or PCOS nutrition that respects that there is no one prescription for everyone. For PCOS, I review your labs, look at your full health picture, and treat you as an individual so that your plan matches your goals and your lifestyle. I blend sports nutrition with mindset and behavior change coaching so you are not just given a meal plan, but supported in building skills and confidence. My goal is for you to feel seen, heard, and equipped with tools you can actually use long term.

Your first session with Taiyyibah

In our first session, we will talk about your health history, current concerns, training or activity level, eating patterns, and goals. I will ask questions to understand what feels hardest for you right now, whether that is making weight, constant fatigue, cravings, digestive issues, or PCOS symptoms. If you have lab work, we will review what is most relevant together. We will identify one to three clear priorities and turn them into simple, concrete action steps you can start right away. You will leave with a tailored starting plan, an idea of what progress can look like for you, and a roadmap for how we will use follow up visits to adjust and build on your success.
