About Tami
Hi there friend! I'm Tami and I am passionate about women's health & wellness. I have been in the field of holistic wellness and nutrition for more than twenty years, integrating natural food first plans with yoga philosophy and the latest evidence backed recommendations to help women learn how to nurture, support, and love their relationship with both food and themselves. I see my role as a little bit teacher and a lot cheerleader- my clients often say how much they appreciate the unconditional support! When I'm not working with clients I'm in the garden, enjoying a walk with my 3 shiba-inu dogs along the Niagara River, or probably cooking someone something (unless it's summer then I'm probably teaching goat yoga!).
Approach to care
I believe that our body will tell us what we need, we simply have to learn to hear it. My approach to care is one of mindful and intuitive eating, meaning that I can guide you on best practices, but you will ultimately know what works best for you. I'm your partner in learning what that is. Most sessions with me are a mini science class, I'll explain why a recommendation might suit you and help you incorporate it into your daily habits. If you're interested in an all-foods-fit approach while integrating mindfulness techniques and plants as medicine then you're in the right place.
Your first session with Tami
Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other. We'll begin by discussing your struggles and goals, spend some time exploring your health history, and then setting some first steps to get you started. Before we wrap up you'll have a clear set of action steps to begin your journey. It's my job to make sure you feel confident about your plan and supported so you can put it into action in your day-to-day life.
