About Tammie

I am a passionate Registered Dietitian with over 31 years of experience, bringing together deep clinical expertise and lived experience to support the clients I serve. My interest in health began in high school, when I noticed how profoundly movement and nutrition influenced how I felt day to day. However, it was my grandfather’s stroke that truly shaped my professional mission—it revealed the powerful role nutrition plays in prevention, recovery, and long-term health. Living with Hashimoto’s disease myself, I understand firsthand how stress, environment, and daily habits can significantly impact well-being. This personal experience strengthens my commitment to helping others navigate their health challenges with clarity, confidence, and practical guidance.

Approach to care

I specialize in healthy aging, metabolic health, and women’s wellness, and I enjoy supporting adults at every stage of life. My counseling style is practical, compassionate, and judgment-free. I take time to listen carefully, identify what’s getting in the way, and develop individualized plans that are realistic, sustainable, and empowering. Whether someone is managing a chronic condition, navigating GLP-1 therapy, optimizing healthy aging, or simply trying to feel better day to day, my goal remains the same: to help clients feel their best, function at their highest level, and maintain a healthy, productive life. I believe the body has an incredible capacity to heal when given the right support, and I’m honored to partner with clients as they build habits that support long-term wellness.

Your first session with Tammie

Your first session is focused entirely on you—your goals, your challenges, and what support looks like in your real life. We’ll review your health history, daily routines, and current obstacles, then create a clear, actionable plan that feels doable and encouraging. My approach is warm, direct, and judgment-free, so you can feel comfortable asking questions and being honest about what you need. You’ll leave the session with practical next steps and confidence in the path forward.
