About Taniesa
Hi, Iâm Taniesa (pronounced tuh-nee-suh), and I'm passionate about helping you reach your nutrition and wellness goals through a compassionate, personalized, and evidence-based approach. I specialize in weight management, diabetes (including prediabetes and gestational), pregnancy, heart health, kidney disease, PCOS, menopause, IBS and other GI conditions, inflammation, cancer, fatty liver disease, plant-based eating, and mindful eating. My professional experience includes working with college students at Columbia Medical School, dancers and artists at The Juilliard School, professionals in high-stress fields such as law enforcement, attorneys, and executives, and marginalized communities including LGBTQ+ and BIPOC individuals. With so much nutrition misinformation out there, I focus on providing clarity, reassurance, and strategies backed by science, so you can feel confident and supported every step of the way.

Iâll take the time to listen and understand your health history, preferences, and routines to ensure your plan is both personalized and realistic. As a working mom of two little ones, my free time is devoted to being fully present with my kids and creating lasting memoriesâwhether weâre playing, going to the park, cuddling up for a movie night, or enjoying a fun staycation. When I do get time for myself, I love taking dance classes, hiking Southern Californiaâs beautiful trails, and staying engaged with whatâs happening in the world.
