About Tanya

Hello! I believe nutrition care works best when it feels practical, supportive, and tailored to real life. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you build habits that feel achievable, sustainable, and empowering. I’ve been a dietitian since 2017, with experience supporting patients in both clinical and community settings, including disease management and family-focused nutrition. My work has taught me how to translate nutrition guidance into real-world steps that fit everyday life.

Approach to care

My approach is collaborative and patient-centered. Rather than prescribing rigid plans, we focus on education that makes sense, goals that feel manageable, and strategies that can flex as life changes. I take time to listen and explain the “why” behind recommendations so you feel confident applying them in daily life. My counseling style is warm, encouraging, and practical. Success isn’t about perfection—it’s about feeling more confident around food, less stressed about choices, and supported in your health journey.

Your first session with Tanya

Your first session is focused on getting to know you. We’ll discuss your health history, nutrition concerns, lifestyle, and goals, and identify what feels most important to address right now. You can expect a supportive, judgment-free conversation, clear education, and a few realistic next steps you can start immediately. By the end of the session, you’ll feel informed, supported, and confident about the path forward.

Master’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences, with an emphasis in nutrition, dietetics, and food science. Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in athletic training and physical therapy.
