About Tanya
I’m a Registered Dietitian with over 16 years of experience helping people build healthier, more balanced lives through nutrition. I’m board certified in oncology nutrition (CSO) and nutrition support (CNSC), with extensive expertise in clinical nutrition, chronic disease management, and evidence-based counseling. My specialties include oncology, gastrointestinal health, critical care, and nutrition support, but I also love helping clients with weight management, general wellness, and creating sustainable habits that fit their lifestyle.
Approach to care
Nutrition should be approachable and empowering, not overwhelming. My approach is supportive and realistic. Food isn’t just about nutrients, it’s about life, culture, and enjoyment. Food is medicine. My goal is to meet you where you're at, provide clear guidance, and help you create a realistic plan that supports your health goals. Together, we’ll focus on practical strategies that work in your daily life so you can work towards feeling your best.
Your first session with Tanya
In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and talking about your health history, current habits, and goals. I’ll ask questions to understand your lifestyle and challenges, and what’s most important to you. Together, we’ll start building a personalized plan that feels realistic and sustainable. My goal is for you to leave the session with clarity, a few actionable steps, and feeling supported.
