About Tara

Finding trustworthy nutrition advice can feel overwhelming with all the conflicting information out there. I’m passionate about helping clients see past the extreme diets and focus on practical, research-based guidance that works for you. I’ve been a registered dietitian for 8 years, working with a wide range of nutrition concerns. Over the past 5 years, I’ve specialized in oncology nutrition, supporting individuals through infusion treatments, radiation, and surgery. In this field, nutrition can be one of the few things a person can control, and I bring this empowering perspective to all areas of health. I also help clients prevent and manage chronic diseases, maintain a healthy weight, and build sustainable healthy eating habits. My goal is to support you at every stage of your health journey, knowing that our nutrition needs and goals evolve over time. Together, we’ll find an approach that fits your life, your body, and your goals.

Approach to care

My approach to care is collaborative, understanding, and supportive. I will listen to you with empathy and compassion. I understand that when you or a loved one is managing a chronic disease, it can sometimes feel like nutrition is the only thing you can control. I work with you to create realistic short-term and long-term goals that build lasting, meaningful habits and support your health journey.

Your first session with Tara

During our first nutrition counseling session, we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’ll learn about your background, health goals, and how you best receive information and learn. Together, we’ll work toward your health goals in a way that feels achievable and sustainable, as a team.
