About Tara
Welcome to my page! I'm Tara, a dedicated dietitian with a background in clinical pediatric nutrition, now expanding my work to support a wider range of individuals in their wellness journeys. I believe in an integrative approach to health—looking beyond quick fixes to uncover root causes and build lasting, sustainable habits to fit your lifestyle. Health isn't about perfection; we’re all human, and indulging in life’s little pleasures is part of the balance. My goal is to empower you with practical, personalized strategies that nourish both body and mind. Whether you're looking to improve your eating habits, manage a health condition, or simply feel your best, I'm here to support you with practical, science-based advice—no fads. Let’s create a healthier, more sustainable future together—one mindful choice at a time!
Approach to care
I believe in a nutrition approach that values clean, high-quality ingredients over strict calorie counting, focusing on nourishment that extends beyond numbers. With deep respect for clinical nutrition, I blend evidence-based principles with a holistic, integrative approach that considers the full picture—mind, body, and lifestyle—to cultivate sustainable, balanced habits. By emphasizing whole foods, functional nutrition, and identifying root causes of health concerns, I strive to support long-term wellness rather than short-term restriction. My goal is to help you build an informed, and fulfilling relationship with food, by empowering you with knowledge and practical strategies making wellness an achievable, sustainable, and enjoyable journey.
Your first session with Tara
Your first session is all about connection, understanding, and setting the foundation for a personalized approach to nutrition—without any pressure. My goal is to create a welcoming space with open, relaxed conversation where I take the time to learn about you: your lifestyle, food preferences, habits, and goals. This isn’t about rigid plans or immediate changes; it’s about understanding what works for you and how we can build sustainable, supportive habits together that truly fit your life. Whether you have specific health concerns or just want guidance, this session is a chance to explore what’s possible in a way that feels comfortable and achievable. There’s no need to have everything figured out right away; I'm here to guide, support, and help you make informed, confident choices at a pace that feels right for you while focusing on progress in a way that is achievable and sustainable, rather than striving for perfection.

Hobbies
Outside of work you can find me spending time with my husband and friends often hosting dinner and holiday parties and Sunday gatherings. When time allows and energy serves I enjoy traveling locally and internationally, camping, exercising , cooking, reading, beading, drawing/coloring, playing music with friends, and shopping at thrift stores. I try to live my life mindfully but don't exclude myself from the occasional doom scroll or Netflix binge on a lazy day as I'm sure you can relate!
