About Tara

Hi, there! My name is Tara - thank you for reading my bio! I've been a dietitian for over 20 years now. I believe every nutrition journey is unique, and I’m passionate about helping you find what works best for your life and goals. My experience spans general nutrition, healthy aging, adult wellness, and hospice care. I've also worked in public health and education. This diverse background allows me to see the big picture and tailor recommendations that fit your needs. I’m here to listen to your story, support your goals, and guide you toward feeling your best—one step at a time.

Approach to care

I start by listening—your story matters. Together, we’ll identify your goals and create a plan that feels realistic. I combine my training, experience, evidence-based practices, intuition, and creativity to help you take meaningful steps toward those goals. I’ll guide you with honesty, kindness, and encouragement, while being direct when needed. My role is to support you every step of the way so you can feel confident and capable on your journey.

Your first session with Tara

During our first visit, we’ll review your health history and talk through any questions or concerns you may have. You’ll have the opportunity to share your expectations for our time together, and I’ll listen closely so we can make this experience meaningful and tailored to your needs. Together, we’ll outline a plan for moving forward—whether that means setting specific goals, scheduling follow-up sessions, or identifying practical steps you can start right away. My goal is to provide guidance that feels realistic, encouraging, and supportive, so you leave feeling confident and motivated. I’m here to partner with you, not just to give advice. Your voice matters, and your input will shape the path we take.
