About Tate
Tate is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. She's worked over 15 years in a variety of patient settings with all types of diabetes, associated disorders and diseases, like metabolic syndrome, hypothyroidism, insulin resistance, kidney, liver, cardiac, cognitive, PCOS. Tate also has experience with pre and post bariatric patients, disordered and emotional eating. She works well with those on the neurodivergent spectrum.
Approach to care
Tate meets you where you're currently functioning. She listens and cares about your health goals. Her approach is to work with you, your environment, your background, your current, unique situation. Using evidence and researched based practices, out-of-the-box-thinking and other well-established tools to help facilitate change, Tate helps you formulate a plan get to your personal, unique health goals. Be ready for dialogue as she's not afraid to be inquisitive - that's how she'll get to know you so you can work more closely together to help you achieve your goals. Tate's all about empowering you with tools and knowledge so that you can move forward with your personal decisions and choices with nutrition, health and overall well being.

You'll get into your history, the why you are here, the short and long term goals you might have (and if you don't know, you can definitely discuss them). The more honest you are, the more Tate can help you, help you. You may not get to everything the first day, but be assured, with all the information you provide, Tate and you will be able to create a personalized plan, schedule follow up sessions and continue to move forward.
