About Taylor
I am a Registered Dietitian with eight years of experience helping individuals improve their health through evidence-based nutrition. I began my career in the hospital setting, where I gained extensive experience assessing and educating patients across a wide range of medical conditions. This foundation allowed me to develop strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of how nutrition impacts both acute and chronic disease. My specialties range from general healthy eating and lifestyle nutrition to advanced nutrition support. I now use this knowledge and experience to help patients in the outpatient setting meet their nutrition goals through practical, personalized guidance that supports long-term health and well-being.
Approach to care
My approach to care is individualized for each patient. I believe that nutrition is not one-size-fits-all, and I plan to take the time to understand each person’s unique needs, lifestyle, and goals. By working collaboratively, I will aim to find strategies and solutions that best suit each patient, empowering them to make sustainable changes that support their overall health and well-being.
Your first session with Taylor
During our first session, you can expect me to take the time to get to know you as a person. Discussing your current lifestyle, habits, challenges, and strengths. We will talk through your overall health and nutrition goals and explore the tools, strategies, and support available to help you achieve them. My aim is to create a comfortable, collaborative space where we can begin building a personalized plan that fits your lifestyle.
Education
I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition at East Carolina University. Afterward, I pursued my Dietetic Internship and earned my Master of Science in Nutrition from New York University. This combination of clinical training and advanced education has provided a strong foundation for delivering evidence-based, patient-centered nutrition care.
Hobbies
Outside of my work as a dietitian, I enjoy baking sourdough, taking walks with my dog, and exploring new recipes in the kitchen. These hobbies help deepen my love for food, both in my personal life and in the guidance I share with patients.
