About Taylor

Hi, I'm Taylor, a registered dietitian (RDN) based in Winston Salem, North Carolina. I bring 9 years of experience and a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics. My clinical roots span hospital and GI care, including roles as a GI dietitian at MUSC and a clinical dietitian at Indiana University. I'm deeply interested in oncology nutrition and GI health, and I love helping people make realistic, sustainable changes. Outside of work, I enjoy baking, hiking, and spending time outdoors. I'm glad you're here.

Approach to care

Together we’ll ground our work in evidence and compassion, focusing on behaviors and overall wellbeing rather than just a number on the scale. My approach is holistic and educational, helping you understand how food, sleep, and stress influence health. I’m direct and action-oriented, offering clear steps and accountability while staying flexible to your life. With empathy and science, we’ll build lasting habits that fit you today and tomorrow.

Your first session with Taylor

Our first appointment is a conversation, not a test. We'll review your medical history, medications, and goals, and explore your relationship with food in a non-judgmental space. We'll set 1 to 2 short-term, realistic steps you can start with right away. We'll talk about your routines, preferences, and barriers, and decide how we'll work together. You don't need to have everything figured out yet; I will meet you where you are, and we'll move forward together.
