About Taylor
Taylor specializes in treating adolescents and adults with eating disorders and disordered eating. She firmly believes in practicing from a Health at Every Size (HAES) and weight-neutral framework and regularly incorporates the principles of Intuitive Eating in her practice. She believes that all foods can most certainly fit in a healthy diet and believes that everyone has the right to develop a healthy relationship with food and body. Taylor has experience working at the inpatient, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and outpatient levels of care for eating disorder treatment. She also believes full eating disorder recovery is possible.
Approach to care
I believe that you are the expert of your own body and health. I can help use my education and knowledge of nutrition to help meet your individual goals with food and nutrition. I am also not the food police, and will never judge you for what you do or not eat! I am a great listener and will meet you where you are at in your health journey.
Your first session with Taylor
During our first session, we spend time getting to know you and your goals for care. We will go over a comprehensive assessment which includes your medical/psychiatric history, explore your current and past eating patterns and lifestyle habits, and explore areas where we can improve your relationship with food and your body. We will discuss a brief treatment plan and schedule your next follow-up appointment.
