About Taylor
Hi! My name is Taylor Grasso, I'm a registered dietitian and also work in the content creation space sharing about balanced, approachable nutrition online. I live in Grimes, Iowa with my husband, Zack, two dogs, Luigi and Poppi, and we are currently expecting our first baby boy in May 2025! I became a dietitian after years of struggling with my own relationship with food and realized I wanted to help others understand how nutrition and food can be such a positive aspect in their lives versus something that causes stress or anxiety. In my free time I like to cook, go on walks, practice hot yoga, and try new restaurants in the Des Moines area with my husband!
Approach to care
I take what I like to call a gentle nutrition approach. My goal when working with clients is to help them create a more positive relationship with food, understand nutrition, and make slow, sustainable changes over time so that these habits become something that feels easy, consistent, and a part of your lifestyle naturally!
Your first session with Taylor
In your first session, my goal is to get to know you better, understand what food looks like and means to you, and what your goals are, plus, what are the challenges that are currently hindering you from accomplishing those goals. My goal as a provider is to be your support system that encourages you along the way!
