About Taylor

Hey! I’m Abby, and I’m a Christian 32-year-old mom and wife. Years ago, I had a huge sweet tooth, was overweight and chronically inflamed. I struggled with migraines, fatigue, brain fog, joint pain, anxiety, severe menstrual cramping, low libido, low self-esteem and terrible digestive pain. My entire family was overweight so I thought it was just in my genetics to be overweight too. Finally, I'd had enough of feeling sick and tired. After some research, I changed my diet and started exercising and was able to drop 60 pounds, reverse all of my symptoms, and lose my sweet tooth! I was able to get pregnant naturally and though I gained 60 pounds during my pregnancy, I was able to lose almost all of the weight before getting pregnant a second time. I used the same strategies I’d used in the past, with some added emphasis on healing and giving myself grace. My biggest takeaway over the years has been this: you don't have to be perfect; you just have to be consistent and never give up.

Approach to care

I believe in judgement-free, patient-centered care, and results-driven coaching. You will pick which goals you want to work on, based on how important they are to you and I will help you fine-tune those goals so they are achievable, and give you the action plan and the accountability you need to make those goals your reality. If you aren't seeing results, or you've plateaued, we will adjust course as needed to help you reach your goals and keep you on track for success! I believe in educating you and giving you the tools you need to make lifelong changes that are sustainable and enjoyable for you.

Your first session with Taylor

In your first session you will tell me a little about yourself and your day-to-day life. I'd like to know about your current routines and habits as well as what you normally eat and what you typically do for activity. I will assess your current level of nutrition knowledge, and we will go over your goals and any current barriers you have to meeting those goals. We will end your session with at least one achievable goal to focus on until our next meeting!
