About Taylor

Hi! I’m a registered dietitian passionate about helping others learn how to fuel their body while making eating simple and enjoyable again. I received my bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Illinois and my master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Benedictine University. I have years of experience helping individuals with a variety of medical conditions including diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, obesity, cancer, organ transplants, and tube feedings. Whether you're managing a chronic condition, seeking weight management, or aiming to improve your overall well-being, I am here to support you every step of the way!

I understand your nutrition journey can be challenging, and I’m committed to providing a supportive, judgment-free environment. I’ll listen to your concerns, respect your values, and work with you to overcome any obstacles. Rather than promoting restrictive behaviors and unrealistic expectations, I emphasize the importance of balance and moderation, advocating for a diet that includes all food groups in the right amounts. During your first session with me, you can expect a warm and welcoming environment where we’ll take the time to get to know each other. We'll discuss your health history, dietary habits, lifestyle, and personal goals in detail. I’ll listen to your concerns, answer all your questions, and begin enhancing your nutrition knowledge and skills. Together, we’ll identify any challenges you face and develop a realistic, sustainable plan that empowers you to take control of your health with confidence. This initial session is all about understanding you as an individual and setting the foundation for a successful journey toward better health!

Hobbies

​​I enjoy spending time outside doing activities such as walking, hiking, rollerblading, and pilates. I’m also very passionate about interior design. We move frequently because my husband is in the military, but I tackle every move with excitement as it gives me an opportunity to make our new house into a home!
