About Taylor

My name is Taylor, a Registered Dietitian based out of Michigan. With a passion for nutrition ignited during my years as a competitive athlete, I began my journey imagining a career in sports nutrition. However, life had other plans. Through diverse practicum experiences and internships, I discovered a profound love for helping people manage chronic diseases—a path that aligned perfectly with my purpose. Armed with Bachelors' degrees in Dietetics and Exercise Science and a Master’s of Science in Nutrition I went on to achieve not only the title of Registered Dietitian but also became a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. This dual expertise is the cornerstone of my mission to improve lives through evidence-based and personalized nutrition care. With extensive experience in coaching clients around hypertension, diabetes management, prediabetes, and weight management, I specialize in tailoring my counseling approach to each individual.

Approach to care

The heart of my practice lies in building rapport. I believe that a genuine connection is essential for clients to feel supported and understood as they navigate their unique health journeys. Seeing small wins blossom into transformative life changes fuels my dedication and passion for my work. Rooted in empathy and personalization, I meet clients where they are on their journey, and always aim to foster a warm and welcoming environment where goals, concerns, and triumphs are shared openly.

Your first session with Taylor

In our first session together I will spend some time getting to know you personally, your motivations behind joining Nourish, your ultimate goals, and any challenges you face. If applicable, I'll have you describe previous strategies used to tackle behavior change and any success or barriers you faced with that. Further, we'll discuss your current lifestyle routine, and any habits around nutrition, such as meal planning and food preferences. At the end of the session together we will identify you priorities and generate an actionable plan to build on in future sessions.
