Approach to care

I listen to understand your goals, lifestyle, preferences, and medical history. From there, I identify likely root causes—often more than one—and guide you to understand what’s happening in your body using analogies and visuals. Small changes may lead to big results, or we may need to unpack and address several factors. My approach helps you build a sustainable, enjoyable lifestyle that improves your health for years, not weeks. Clients have dropped medications, lowered A1C, reduced blood pressure, balanced hormones, gained energy, eased pain, and lost 10–100+ pounds.

Your first session with Teresa

In our first session, I’ll ask questions to understand your goals, what success looks like, your likes/dislikes, past efforts, and current lifestyle. Then, I’ll explain what lifestyle factors impact your health most and where to focus your efforts. Together, we’ll set habit experiments—not rigid goals—designed to test what works for you. Think of it as running a pilot test for your health, adjusting based on your results. This isn’t a work project; it’s about finding sustainable changes that fit your life and lead to the results you want.
