About Terry
I am proudly a RDN of close to 30 years and have worked in all kinds of clinical and community settings. BS in Human Nutrition from UMASS at Amherst, MS in General Management with a Food Service and Nutrition Concentration from Lesley University. An amazing Dietetic Internship from Simmons College in Boston allowing me the finest experiences in Nutrition through Boston Medical Center, Joslin Clinic for Diabetes, Commonwealth of Massachusetts for Community Nutrition. I've worked in hospitals, childcare centers, day care centers, nursing homes, meals on wheels, mental health and addictions facilities, university clinics, even prisons, and of course private practice. Along the way I have found we all want the same thing, to learn, to grow, to take care of ourselves and those around us. Nutrition is the most basic way we nourish our bodies and our souls. I have been blessed to learn - and keep on learning -as much as I can about it and to share it with others.
Approach to care
If you are here you are seeking to make changes to your nutrition and health. Congratulations! Changing eating habits can be challenging but very rewarding. The decisions and actions you take are your choice. I will be there to provide education, resources, research and hopefully compassion to help you achieve your goals.
Your first session with Terry
During your first session we can discuss your hopes and goals for your health and lifestyle. I will be seeking information about your medical history, any mental health issue that may impact your nutrition, your eating habits and food preferences. This will help us to prepare possible meal plans and strategies toward achieving your goals.
