About Timothy
I have two master's degrees from San Diego State University, one in nutritional science and the other in exercise physiology. I did a year-long internship at the U.S. Naval Academy for sports dietetics and was employed by the Academy for a year after that. I specialize in sports dietetics and everything related to it, such as healthy weight gain, weight loss, and performance nutrition. I also have experience in supplemental nutrition.
Approach to care
My approach to care is the 80/20 rule. This means that 80% of the time, you eat healthy and get your exercise in, while the other 20% is when you can eat whatever you want without any regret or remorse. All foods fit into a healthy diet; there are no "bad" or "evil" foods.
Your first session with Timothy
In our first session, we will get to know each other and understand your reasons for coming to see me. We will go over a food recall to get a general idea of your intake. Then, we can set some short-term and long-term nutrition goals.
