About Tina
Hi, I'm Tina, a Registered Dietitian with 30 years of experience. I earned my Didactic Program in Dietetics from LI University/CW Post and a Bachelor of Psychology from SUNY Stony Brook. Over the years I have worked in clinical and hospital settings, in community health, and with outpatient dialysis, which gives me a broad view of how nutrition fits into everyday life. In my downtime I love yoga, hiking, jogging, cooking, and volunteering with dog rescues. I bring warmth, curiosity, and a practical, patient-focused approach to help you build sustainable habits.
Approach to care
My care philosophy blends evidence-based science with empathy and practical action. I work with you in a collaborative, non judgmental way, translating current research into simple steps you can actually follow. I honor Health At Every Size and focus on behaviors that support long term wellbeing, not quick fixes. I look at the whole person including nutrition, sleep, stress, and daily routines, and I educate you so you can make informed decisions that fit your life. My goal is lasting change that feels doable and respectful.
Your first session with Tina
Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history, lab work, and short-term goals in a supportive, non judgmental space. Think of it as a conversation, not an exam. You don't need to have everything figured out yet; we'll explore what's important to you and set one or two realistic goals to get started. I want you to feel heard and equipped with clear steps you can begin implementing right away.
