About Tracy
Hi! I’m Tracy. A Registered Dietitian and lover of the outdoors. I am an ultra-runner/adventure racer/endurance athlete. I love working with people to help them establish positive nutrition habits & relationships with food for lifelong habits & improve quality of life. I have 20 years of experience working as a Dietitian. With extensive knowledge & experience working with, but not limited to, pre-diabetes/diabetes, cardiac, GI issues, food allergies, weight management, autism, & working with mental health disorders for both the adults & pediatrics. I was also a key player in a successful pediatric obesity clinic.
Approach to care
My approach to care is meeting people where they are at, in a client centered approach unique to each individual needs to help build lifelong sustainable habits. This includes helping you be more mindful of your choices and learn to become intentional about the changes you want to make. I believe no one is perfect, we all fail at times but learning from those failures is what makes us stronger and better people. I want to help support you through this journey. No two people are alike so I don’t believe in cookie cutter diet recommendations as there is no one size fits all. Everyone is unique. We will work together to find the best approach for you, in a judgement-free zone.
Your first session with Tracy
In our initial session we will get to know each other, while also assessing your current health status. This includes medical history, dietary habits, physical activity, stress level, and any other concerns. I will typically ask you for your “why,” why do you want to make a change, what is your motivation, and what barriers/challenges are you facing. One’s why and motivation can change over time, but this helps me see you where you are at now, so we can decide the best direction moving forward. We will probably end our session by setting a small attainable goal to get you started on your health journey.
