About Tracy
Hi, my name is Dr. Tracy Maluchnik, RDN, LDN and I have over 17 years of counseling and teaching experience. I have been employed with the United States Marine Corp as their Semper Fit dietitian, higher education, outpatient nutrition counseling, acute and long term care. My specialities are sports nutrition, health promotion and wellness.
Approach to care
My approach to nutrition counseling is rooted in compassion, cultural sensitivity, and practical guidance that empowers patients to make sustainable dietary and lifestyle changes. I believe in building trust through active listening and open communication, creating a safe and respectful environment where clients feel heard and understood. I tailor nutrition recommendations to be practical, realistic, and sustainable, recognizing that lasting change happens gradually and looks different for everyone.
Your first session with Tracy
What you can expect during the first session is a general interview that will review your medical history. I will take some time getting to know you, we'll start by discussing: Your medical history and any current diagnoses, medications or supplements you're taking, eating habits and daily routine. We will also review lifestyle factors such as physical activity, stress, and sleep. We will also set goals for the next session.
