About Tracy

I bring 17 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian and a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Rutgers University to my clinical practice. I have worked with patients all across the lifespan. Most of my career has been in clinical inpatient and outpatient settings, where I learned how medical history, daily routines, and real life shape what we eat. I am dedicated to providing my patients with compassionate, personalized and evidenced based care. I know personally and professionally how challenging eating can be. I am passionate about providing practical and realistic strategies to make nutrition as simple as possible and keep patients feeling well. When I’m not working, you’ll find me reading, hiking with my husband, tending the garden, visiting national parks, cheering on my kids at their sports and spending time with my dogs. I’m grateful for the chance to help you feel seen, heard, and supported on your nutrition journey!

Approach to care

My care is grounded in evidence while staying empathetic and warm. I believe in partnering with you rather than telling you what to do, and I’ll be clear about actionable steps you can take. I practice from a weight-neutral, HAES-informed perspective, focusing on behavior and health outcomes rather than a number on the scale. I’m holistic in my approach, considering sleep, stress, activity, and mental well-being as part of nutrition. Education powers our work together, so you’ll leave each session with knowledge you can use to make informed choices and strategies that fit your lifestyle. I want to give you as many practical tools and realistic tips as possible to keep you meeting your goals while feeling well and enjoying food. We'll move at a pace that fits you and your life. Nutrition is a journey, and I will support you in any way that I can every step of the way!

Your first session with Tracy

Our first session is all about you. We’ll review your medical history, labs or biometrics if available, and your daily routine, eating habits, and relationship with food. We’ll discuss physical activity, goals, and any health issues you’re navigating. The session will last about 55 minutes and is designed as a conversation, not an evaluation. You don’t need to have everything figured out; I want to understand where you are today and what you’d like to achieve. Together we’ll set 1-2 realistic goals and decide whether a meal plan or recipe review would help. In our follow up sessions we will discuss how you are feeling and any setbacks or challenges you may be experiencing. Life happens, so we will come up with strategies for symptom management, meal planning, grocery shopping and dining out to keep you on track with your goals no matter what curve balls life may throw. Between visits, you can message me with any questions or concerns that may come up.
