About Tracy
Hello! I have been a practicing dietitian for over 20 years now. I have a wide variety of expertise in most types of Medical Nutrition Therapy. I have specialized in nutrition support, kidney disease, oncology, and HIV care. I hold board-certification in nutrition support (CNSC). I have worked in small to large hospitals, dialysis clinics, IV pharmacies, and nursing homes. I have learned adaptability and change can make one's skills stronger from these varied experiences. I am a father of 2 adult boys, love soccer, cycling, weight lifting, and travel. I am married to a physician assistant who specializes in spine surgery and is a former dietitian, so we have many fun conversations about the growing interest in good nutrition! I enjoy spreading the word about how much nutrition can not only provide needed energy to our lives, but help us thrive in all we do!
Approach to care
I have always prided myself on the ability to individualize the care for every person I have cared for. - Goals are always set with you as the decision maker and me as your personal expert and coach. - I use evidence-based approaches, but can help you evaluate alternative methods as well. This means we will be working together to reach definable outcomes that improve your health. - It is always about what you want to achieve that guides the plan. But, long-term solutions are the primary focus. Short-term goals can be helpful to encourage your journey, but will always be a step towards bigger goals. - If something isn't working, we can change strategy and chart a new course. I'm adaptable because I am invested in you being the best version of yourself.
