About Trisha
Hi there! Iβm Trisha, or Trish if you prefer. Iβm a registered dietitian who values building genuine connections with my clients and understanding their experiences, not just their eating habits. I enjoy working together to help people feel better physically and emotionally in a way that feels supportive and free of judgment. Some people come to me for help with blood sugar, cholesterol, or blood pressure. Others are navigating emotional eating, binge eating, weight changes, or years of dieting that left them feeling confused or discouraged. Often, it is a mix of both physical and emotional challenges, and that is completely okay. A big part of my work is helping you understand what is going on beneath the surface. Stress, habits, past experiences, and self talk all play a role in how you eat and how you feel. I would love to work alongside you to look at the whole picture and create something realistic that truly fits your life.
Approach to care
I take a supportive, down-to-earth approach that combines nutrition science with compassion. I want to help you understand what your body is telling you, make sense of symptoms or lab results, and work through the guilt or frustration that often comes with food and health changes. We move at your pace and build something together that feels realistic and sustainable. You are not expected to be perfect. You are just expected to be human. I am here to support you as you build confidence, healthier routines, and a calmer relationship with food.
Your first session with Trisha
Your first session is meant to feel calm, supportive, and low-pressure. It is simply a conversation where I get to know you and what has been going on in your life and with your health. We will talk about your medical history, any lab results or diagnoses, your experiences with food and dieting, and what feels hardest right now. We will also touch on your routines, stress, and what a typical day looks like for you. My goal is to understand the full picture, not just what you eat. By the end of the session, you can expect more clarity around what may be affecting your health or eating patterns, a few realistic next steps, and a sense of where we can go from here together. I want you to leave feeling heard, supported, and a little more hopeful.
