About Truddie
My decision to become a registered dietitian was inspired by seeing close friends—otherwise young and healthy—diagnosed with autoimmune conditions. With the rising prevalence of these conditions, many patients face a gap in care that other healthcare providers do not always address. I am deeply passionate about nutrition, particularly its role in the gut–brain axis, autoimmune disease management, plant based nutrition and gastrointestinal health. My goal is to make nutrition approachable and enjoyable, helping patients integrate diet and lifestyle changes that support healing and long-term well-being. I'm also a lifelong plant based eater so I can help with those who are trying to integrate more plant based foods into their life!
Approach to care
My approach is rooted in empathy and collaboration. I focus on understanding the whole person—not just symptoms—by looking at underlying causes, lifestyle factors, and individual goals. Together, we build practical, sustainable strategies that support long-term health and well-being.
