About Tyler

I use food as medicine to help people reach their health goals, whether that is weight loss, diabetes, high blood pressure or simply needing to regain balance in your life. I use all the tools that I have learned throughout my dietetic journey to help you achieve your goals. What I love most about what I do is inspiring people to feel as good as they can through food, and teaching them how to achieve their goals sustainably. This is not about teaching diet plans, but rather taking your current lifestyle and implementing healthier habits into your current way of living.

Approach to care

I provide a holistic, evidence-based approach to nutrition, focusing on individual needs and goals, by evaluating a person's nutritional status, health history, and lifestyle. You will be provided with education and counseling on nutrition principles, healthy eating habits, and how to manage any health conditions. I believe in making small short term goals that lead to long term sustainable goals. "Progress not perfection" is my motto.

Your first session with Tyler

The first meeting is an opportunity to get to know you and build rapport. We will have a detailed discussion about your medical history, current diet, and health goals, as this will help better understand your daily routine, eating habits, and any challenges you face with food or nutrition. We will discuss your feelings and emotions around food, your overall nutrition goals and the best ways to help you support and achieve your desired results.
