About Valeria
My work starts well before the high chair! I provide compassionate, evidence-based guidance in prenatal and postnatal nutrition, lactation support, and child nutrition, helping families feel informed and confident from pregnancy through the early years of childhood. I believe nutrition is about more than just fueling the body. It’s about building a healthy, lifelong relationship with food. I’ll help you create a positive mealtime experience where all foods can fit, and support you in learning to listen to your hunger and fullness cues through the principles of intuitive eating. I’m a proud wife to my high school sweetheart and a mom to four amazing kids, all under the age of five! Life is busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Whether I’m navigating toddler tantrums or diving into the latest research on childhood nutrition, I’m dedicated to making food fun, accessible, and nourishing for families.
Approach to care
My approach to care is rooted in personalization and a strong focus on individual goals. I know that nutrition is never one-size-fits-all, which is why I tailor my guidance to meet the unique needs, lifestyles, and goals of each person or family I work with. By taking time to understand your preferences, routines, and stage of life, whether you're pregnant, newly postpartum, navigating feeding challenges with a toddler, or building healthy habits for your family. I create realistic, supportive plans that fit naturally into your daily life. My mission is to make nutrition education accessible, sustainable, and even fun, so that positive changes feel manageable and empowering, and not overwhelming.
Your first session with Valeria
During our first session, you can expect a comfortable, relaxed environment where you can truly be yourself. This is a nonjudgmental zone, and my goal is to get to know you. I want to hear your story, your challenges, and your victories. You’ll do most of the talking, as I take the time to listen and understand where you’re coming from. We’ll talk about your short- and long-term goals, and I’ll learn what a day in your life looks like. Together, we’ll create a plan that works for you and your family. I want you to feel like you’re chatting with a friend over coffee: no pressure, just an open conversation about how we can make nutrition a positive part of your life.
