About Valerie
I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with over 30 years of experience, and my heart has always been in nutrition counseling. I’m passionate about helping people feel healthier, stronger, and more confident through simple, sustainable changes. My goal is to make nutrition approachable, practical, and culturally relevant and yes, I love adding a little humor to keep things light along the way.
Approach to care
I take a holistic approach to nutrition, focusing on habits that nourish your whole body — supporting digestion, balancing hormones, enhancing energy, and strengthening your relationship with food so you can thrive from the inside out. My style is supportive, practical, and free of judgment. I don’t believe in extreme diets. My goal is to empower you without overwhelm and walk with you step-by-step as you create sustainable, meaningful change.
Your first session with Valerie
Your first session will feel like a thoughtful reset; a chance to reflect, breathe, and get clarity. I’ll take time to understand your goals, health history, daily routine, and the challenges you face. Together, we’ll build a personalized plan that feels realistic and doable from day one. You’ll walk away with clear steps, encouragement, and the confidence that you’re not navigating this journey alone. And don’t worry, no guilt, no judgment, and definitely no forced celery unless that’s your love.
