About Veronica

It's nice to meet you! Food and creativity often overlap in my life, and that perspective shapes how I work with patients. After earning my degree from Cal Poly Pomona, Pomona, I spent five years as a Registered Dietitian working across clinical/hospital settings, critical care, private practice, and community health. Most importantly, I always value transparency. Before I became a dietitian, I went through my own struggles with both health and my relationship with food; because of this, I can deeply empathize with my patients, regardless of where they are in their journey. I'm passionate about healing people's relationship with food, and when I'm not meeting patients you'll find me drawing, playing guitar, doing yoga, or cuddling my senior pup!

Approach to care

With today's social media and internet, we are absolutely saturated everyday with information about what's "good" for us, what's "bad," and it's enough to stress anyone out. Science-backed evidence guides what I recommend, and compassion shapes how I put it into practice. I work from a weight-neutral, Health-At-Every-Size lens while using science-backed strategies to create clear, actionable steps. I'm here to make your life easier. Together we'll focus on sustainable habits that fit your life, not quick fixes. I'm warm and non-judgmental, and I aim to teach you the why behind each change so you can make informed decisions that last. I'm here to help you repair your relationship with food in order to help you meet your goals.

Your first session with Veronica

We'll begin with a gentle, curiosity-driven conversation about your relationship with food, what has felt helpful or harmful, and any stress or worries you're carrying in. My goal is to build trust so you feel safe to share, while we identify one or two short-term goals that are realistic and meaningful. You don't need to have everything figured out. We'll address common food myths when they arise and leave with practical next steps you can try between visits.
