About Virginia

Hi, I’m Virginia, a Registered Dietitian based in Washington. I work with adolescents through adults on concerns like weight management, disordered eating patterns, metabolic health, chronic conditions, and prenatal or postpartum nutrition. My background includes clinical, community, and private practice experience supporting people with real-life challenges and supporting them to reach their goals. I’m passionate about helping people feel more confident around food, understand their body’s needs, and build habits that improve energy, health, digestion, and quality of life. My goal is to make nutrition feel realistic, supportive, and sustainable rather than overwhelming or restrictive. Outside of work, I enjoy running, hiking, Pilates, music, cooking, traveling with loved ones, and spending time outdoors, which helps me stay grounded in the same balanced, real-life approach to wellness that I encourage for my patients.

Approach to care

My approach is collaborative, practical, and nonjudgmental. I use evidence-based nutrition and behavior-change strategies while keeping your real life in mind, your schedule, preferences, culture, and goals. I focus on sustainable habits instead of quick fixes, and I prioritize helping you understand the “why” behind recommendations so you feel confident making choices on your own. I’m here to support you, not pressure you, and we’ll work together to find what truly works for you long term.

Your first session with Virginia

Our first session is a relaxed, supportive conversation focused on getting to know you. We’ll review your health history, current habits, goals, and any challenges you’ve faced with nutrition in the past. Together we’ll create a realistic, personalized plan that fits your lifestyle and feels doable. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting, I meet you where you are and help you build a clear, practical path forward. Most patients leave the first session feeling understood, encouraged, excited, and confident about their next steps.
