About Wendy
Wendy was born and raised in Montana and loves the outdoors. She is well traveled and appreciates diversity. She has 26 years of experience, primarily in hospital settings, both inpatient and outpatient. While she has vast experience with both acute and chronic illness, helping people make peace with food through a non-dieting, intuitive eating approach has been a passion throughout. Of her 26 years working as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, 15 of those were spent at the VA helping our nation's veterans.
Approach to care
Wendy takes a patient-centered approach with a motivational interviewing style. She likes to think of her sessions as conversations, not just counseling. Wendy is whole heartedly interested in your unique story and what makes you tick. Evidence-based practice is the foundation for her care, but she also understands that the science of nutrition is an ever evolving landscape and that providing care is as much of an art as it is a science for each individual.
