About Wendy
Wendy has been a working dietitian since 2014. Her areas of practice have focused on weight loss (including long term weight loss maintenance), Diabetes, Prediabetes, Fatty Liver Disease (MASLD/NAFLD), high blood pressure (Hypertension), and other chronic diseases related to diet.
Approach to care
She approaches sessions with compassion and understanding for the needs of the client. Counseling sessions are about developing a partnership that can grow over time. This will be done in a conversational manner so that you are at ease and feel comfortable asking questions and voicing your needs.
Your first session with Wendy
Wendy will conduct a thorough assessment get to know not only your personal and medical history, but also you as a client. What are your specific needs and goals, how you best learn, how much time and energy you have to dedicate to your nutrition. At the end of the first session, there will be opportunity for education on specific topics and time to set specific goals that will support your progress moving forward.
