About Wendy

Hello! I am a dedicated and experienced clinical dietitian specializing in acute care and/or enteral nutrition support. My practice has given me extensive experience across various specialty areas, including cardiac care, high-risk pregnancy, renal nutrition, and neonatal intensive care (what a range!). I am competent in providing nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy for complex cases, from optimizing growth curves for premature infants to helping moms with breast milk supply to supporting patients managing cardiovascular conditions, kidney disease, and pregnancy-related complications. Additionally, I enjoy developing practical, balanced recipes to help translate evidence-based recommendations into daily life. I look forward to partnering with you to help you achieve your health goals with confidence and clarity.

Approach to care

My approach to care is realistic, individualized, and patient-centered. I believe that effective nutrition support should meet each patient’s unique needs, goals, and circumstances. I focus on clear communication, education, and empowering patients to make informed choices that are sustainable and achievable. Patients working with me can expect thorough, evidence-based guidance delivered with empathy and respect. I strive to ensure that every plan I develop is not only clinically appropriate but also practical and adaptable to each person’s lifestyle and cultural context.

Your first session with Wendy

Your first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk through your medical history, current eating habits, lifestyle, and any specific goals or concerns you have. I’ll ask questions to get a full picture of your health, so we can build a plan that makes sense for you. I’ll explain my recommendations, answer any questions you have, and we’ll set realistic, achievable steps together. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and confident about what to do next, not overwhelmed with a long list of rules. After your first session, you’ll have a clear plan and ongoing support to help you follow through, adjust as needed, and stay on track toward your goals.

Education

I earned my Master of Public Health with a focus in Nutrition & Dietetics, and I also hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science.

Hobbies

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, exploring new foods, and volunteering in my community.
