About Wendy

Hi, I'm Wendy. I bring 33 years as a Registered Dietitian and hold a BS in Clinical Dietetics and Nutrition and an MS in Healthcare Supervision and Management from the University of Pittsburgh. I’ve worked in clinical and community health, renal and dialysis settings, campus nutrition, and hospital clinics. I’m a credentialed RD and LDN, committed to empathy and clear, science‑based guidance. When I’m not with patients, you’ll find me boating, at the beach, camping, tending my garden, or refinishing furniture. I love helping people find realistic, sustainable ways to nourish their lives.

Approach to care

Together we’ll build care that lasts. My approach combines evidence-based practice with empathy and a collaborative mindset. I see you as a whole person and tailor support to fit your life, not a diet plan you can’t keep. I focus on behaviors you can sustain, not quick fixes. You’ll gain practical tools, clear next steps, and a deeper understanding of how nutrition fits your body, mind, and daily routine. My 33 years across clinical, community, renal and campus settings inform every plan.

Your first session with Wendy

Our first appointment is a warm, collaborative conversation. We’ll review your medical history and lab work or biometrics, then dive into your relationship with food and your goals. We’ll establish short-term goals and begin to create a personalized meal plan that feels doable. There’s no need to have everything figured out before we meet; this is a judgment-free space where you’re supported. You’ll leave with a sense of direction and tangible steps to start making progress.
