About Whitney
Hi! Iām a mom of two little ones and a dietitian with a deep love for food, family, and community. My passion for nutrition started when I helped my dad navigate life with type 2 diabetes, and ever since, Iāve been dedicated to making healthy eating both enjoyable and practical. With a culinary arts degree alongside my nutrition degree, I love the challenge of creating meals that are both nutritious and full of flavorābecause food should be delicious! While I enjoy cooking, I also occasionally bake, especially when I get the chance to share it with family and friends. Iām proud to call South Louisiana home, where food, festivals, and celebrations are part of everyday life. Whether itās enjoying a local parade or gathering around the table, I believe good food brings people together, and I love helping others find ways to enjoy it in a balanced way.
Approach to care
I believe that nutrition should be practical, empowering, and free from guilt or restriction. My approach is centered on helping you heal your relationship with food, so you can feel confident making food choices that align with your needs and lifestyleāwithout stress or confusion. Rather than prescribing rigid meal plans or āone-size-fits-allā solutions, I meet you where you are and guide you toward sustainable, realistic habits. Whether you're looking to improve your health, manage a condition, or simply feel better in your body, Iāll help you build a strong foundation of nutrition knowledge, self-trust, and balanceāso you can make the best choices for yourself long-term. No diets. No extremes. Just practical, real-life nutrition that works for you
Your first session with Whitney
During our first session, my goal is to understand your health goals, challenges, and priorities so we can create a plan that truly works for you. Instead of jumping straight into advice, I take the time to gather background information about your health history, lifestyle, and relationship with food. Weāll discuss: Your main health goals ā What brought you here, and what changes would be most meaningful to you? Your current eating habits ā Not to judge, but to understand where you're starting. Any health conditions or concerns ā So we can tailor recommendations to your needs. Your lifestyle and challenges ā Because nutrition should fit into your life, not the other way around.
